How I deal with anxiety - as a Christian
•Real talk here•
Even as a Christian I still get anxious, I think we all do in one way or another. The worst for me is obsessive thoughts.
Sometimes I need help calming my obsessive thought. My brain will just be so full of things that I can’t focus.
🌸Habit 1: Pray
This will allow me to ask God to calm my brain and allow me to focus
🌸 Habit 2: Tea
A good cup of tea will alway allow my body to relax and unwind. At this time I may listen to music or read my Bible
🌸 Habit 3: Ashwagandha gummies
This is a natural herb that helps relieve stress. When I get home and my brain is felling like it’s running a million miles. I will take one or two just to help my brain relax. This is great before bed whenever I cannot sleep because my brain has too many thoughts.
The Bible say “be anxious for nothing, but in everything pray.”

Dealing with anxiety is a common struggle for many, including Christians. Anxiety can manifest in various forms, including obsessive thoughts that can overwhelm daily life. Incorporating spiritual practices like prayer not only enhances mental focus but also strengthens one’s faith in managing stress. Research shows that engaging in mindfulness through prayer can lower anxiety levels and promote relaxation. In addition to spiritual support, lifestyle choices can significantly affect mood and stress levels. For instance, consuming herbal remedies such as Ashwagandha has gained popularity for their stress-relieving properties. Ashwagandha is known to help regulate cortisol levels and support mental clarity, making it a popular choice among those seeking natural solutions for anxiety. Furthermore, simple rituals like enjoying a warm cup of herbal tea can create a calming environment, allowing individuals to unwind at the end of the day. Pairing tea time with soothing activities, like listening to music or reading scripture, provides a multi-faceted approach to anxiety relief. While the Bible encourages believers not to be anxious, it also supports proactive measures in managing stress. Recognizing the significance of mental health in a spiritual context is essential. By embracing these practices, individuals can navigate their struggles with anxiety more effectively and find solace in both faith and practical techniques.
