Tips for Oily Hair
After years of dealing with hair that gets oily in what seems like 12 hours post wash, I finally found products that work well without drying out my ends & causing frizz.
Tips:
- I wash my hair 3 times a week; one wash uses the detox shampoo and tea tree, all other washes I double shampoo with just the tea tree
- Apply conditioner & frizz cream to only the ends; do this before skincare to avoid transferring facial products into hair
- Only apply a small amount of moisturizer to the forehead area avoiding hairline as much as possible
For skin care, I live in a part of the world that is very dry and cold for most of the year, so it was important for me to find products that combat acne and scarring without drying me out. Some days I will add more products into my routine, but those shown are my non negotiables. I wash my face daily with a mild face cleanser when I don’t use the facial scrub.
