... Read moreThe Boston Marathon is more than just a race; it's a moment where every runner's passion, determination, and dedication come alive. Participating in an event like the Boston Marathon has its own unique energy, fueled not just by the thrill of competition, but by the personal stories that shape each runner's journey. Whether it's witnessing the enthusiasm of the crowd or the support from fellow runners, the experience is deeply enriching. For many, running for a cause can provide an additional layer of motivation. In 2025, I ran to support the Boston Children's Hospital, an organization dedicated to improving young patients' lives. By raising $11,000, I contributed not just to covering medical expenses, but also to ongoing research and community resources that enhance the quality of care for children and their families. Preparation leading up to race day is crucial. Beyond physical training, selecting the right gear, hydration strategies, and nutrition can significantly impact performance. During my run, I relied on Honey Stinger Chews for quick energy boosts and Salt Stick for electrolyte balance, essential for maintaining stamina through the 26.2-mile journey. The finish line is not just a destination but a celebration of all the hard work and preparation that goes into training for one of the world’s most prestigious marathons. Whether you’re running to set a personal record or to raise awareness for a cause close to your heart, every step counts, creating memories that will last a lifetime.

The Boston Marathon
Not my best race, not my worst. I had some issues early on that followed me through to the end. I ran strong and had a blast. 3:20:38 If you have ever thought about running Boston, do it! Get there any way you can. Qualify or run for a charity. There is no other race like it. #bostonmarathon202

Watching the NYC Marathon as a College Student
One of my best friends ran the NYC marathon this weekend, so obviously we had to go to the sidelines to cheer her on. We made a sign and ran around the city trying to find her every couple of miles. We found her after the finish line, which is right next to our campus, and gave her so many hugs! I

Half Marathon Pics📸
I am so proud to say I ran my first Half Marathon! I put in a lot of training and hard work. I almost couldn’t run this because 3 weeks before my race I developed a stress injury. I seen doctors, had an mri, went to physical therapy, recovery therapy, and did everything I could to run this race.

I ran my FIRST half marathon.. here’s how it went!
I trained for 10 weeks with a plan. Shorter runs followed by 1 day a week pace and then some more short runs and on Sundays it was long slow runs. This definitely helped prepare me! My longest run before the 13.1 was 10 miles. I feel like I could’ve done 12 or 13 leading right up until my taper wee

Good luck! NYC marathon runners
Good luck to everyone running the NYC Marathon tomorrow! I ran NYC in 2010; it was my second major after Boston. I’ve had the chance to run Boston three times, my best times were 2:19:41 (2005) and 2:18:26 (2006). Neither course is easy, but the running community’s energy will carry you through. Re
