Follow Influencers who have the same body as you!!
Always working to eat cleaner! Has realized that fitness and taking care of you is a lifestyle—not a fad ! #Fitness #fitnessjourneymotivation #gymgirlessentials
Hey everyone! I wanted to dive a little deeper into why finding fitness inspiration from people with similar body types is an absolute game-changer. It's something that completely shifted my own fitness journey, and I’m so excited to share my insights with you all! When I first started, I used to follow all the popular fitness accounts, only to feel constantly discouraged. Their bodies looked so different from mine, and no matter how hard I worked, I just couldn't achieve the same aesthetic. It was frustrating and really chipped away at my motivation. Then, I had a lightbulb moment: instead of trying to look like someone else, why not learn from someone who already has a physique similar to mine? This approach has been revolutionary! For example, if you have an HOUR GLASS SHAPE, you might find that certain exercises or training splits work wonders for maintaining your waist-to-hip ratio, while others might not. Similarly, those of us with a SHORT TORSO often need modified approaches for core work or overhead movements to avoid strain, whereas someone with LONG LEGS might excel at different types of cardio or leg day exercises. And for my BUSTY gym girlies, finding comfortable and supportive workout wear, or even modifying push-ups, is a whole journey in itself! So, how do you actually find these relatable fitness influencers? It takes a bit of deliberate searching, but it's worth every minute. First, be specific with your search terms on platforms like Instagram, TikTok, or even YouTube. Don't just type 'fitness influencer.' Try adding your specific body characteristics. For instance, search for 'short torso fitness routines,' 'hourglass shape workouts,' 'long legs running tips,' or 'busty gym outfits.' You’d be surprised what you find! Secondly, check their bios and 'About Me' sections. Many influencers openly share details like their height (yes, just like you might search for 'MadFit height' to find specifics!), weight, or specific body concerns they’ve overcome. This is invaluable information. Seeing someone with a similar height, or perhaps who started their journey at a similar weight like 205LBS and made incredible progress, can provide such realistic and powerful motivation. Pay attention to how they describe their own body type and challenges. Another tip is to observe their content closely. How do the exercises look on their body? Do they offer modifications that resonate with your own physical structure? Sometimes, just watching someone with a similar build perform a squat can give you a much clearer understanding of proper form for your body than watching someone with a completely different frame. Finally, engage with fitness communities and use specific hashtags. Hashtags like #petitefitness, #tallgirlfitness, #plusizefitness, #curvyfit, #shorttorsogirl, or #longlegsgains are treasure troves for finding your fitness twin. Ask questions, share your experiences, and you’ll often find a supportive community ready to point you toward inspiring creators. The biggest benefit? Realistic expectations and boosted self-acceptance. When you follow someone with a similar body type, their progress feels achievable, not intimidating. You learn what’s possible for your unique physique, helping you embrace your body rather than constantly comparing it to an unrealistic ideal. It truly transforms fitness from a chore into a lifestyle of self-care and celebration. Trust me, finding my tribe changed everything for me!
