Dig her out with me! Join my reclaim challenge March 2nd!
Almost 3 years. It’s always so fun to see what happens when I step back in the gym after a long time off.
This sport gave me everything and took a lot from me too. I carry a lot of trauma from it. Doctors told me I’d never do gymnastics again. For a long time, I believed them. For a long time, I let that be the final chapter.
But getting back in as an adult is letting me rewrite that story. On my terms.
And as I get older I see so many people saying things along the lines of “Your athletic days are behind you.” “It’s all downhill after 30.”
And I refuse to let that be my story 👏🏼
I’ll probably never compete again. But that doesn’t mean I stop moving my body in ways that make me feel like a badass.
And maybe for you it’s not athleticism. Maybe you’re so tired you can barely get through the day. Maybe you look at where you are and think it’s just too far gone. That the gap between where you are and where you want to be is too big to close.
You don’t have to accept that, mama.
This is the year to reclaim it. Your strength. Your confidence. How you see yourself. How you nourish yourself. All of it.
Join me March 2nd in my Reclaim You Challenge. 6 weeks to rebuild the foundation.

Returning to fitness after time away, especially for moms balancing family life, can feel daunting but incredibly rewarding. At 35 years old and a mom of three, I resonate deeply with the experience of stepping back into the gym after years off. Like many, I once believed the messages that my best athletic days were behind me, especially after doctors said I’d never do gymnastics again. But reclaiming your strength is less about competing and more about reconnecting with your body and what it can do for you now. It’s important to recognize that physical setbacks don’t define your limits. The process of rebuilding is gradual—starting with small, consistent steps that honor where you are today. For me, this has meant focusing not just on athleticism but on nurturing confidence and self-love. When motherhood demands so much, carving out time for your body and mind can be transformative. Many women experience this disbelief—that it’s too late or the gap is too wide to close—but that’s simply not true. It begins with believing in your capacity to grow and heal, turning the narrative around what others have told you or what you have believed for too long. The "Reclaim You Challenge" supports this transformation through structured guidance and a supportive community. Incorporating gentle strength training, mobility exercises, and mindful nutrition can help you rebuild your foundation. Celebrate every milestone, no matter how small, and allow yourself grace through the process. Sharing progress with other moms or fitness enthusiasts who understand your journey often keeps motivation alive. Ultimately, reclaiming your fitness journey means owning your story. You might not compete again, but moving your body in empowering ways fuels resilience and joy. Remember, you matter, and it’s never too late to dig out that buried part of yourself and let it shine.

Good job!
