Dirty little secrets as a mom & fitness trainer
A lot of these aren’t necessarily secrets, I’ve been pretty open about most of them. But if you don’t follow my stories closely, some of this might be new to you.
I don’t need to tell you social media is a highlight reel because I fall into that trap too. I compare myself to other business owners, other moms, parenting accounts that sometimes make me feel like I’m failing my kids immensely.
It can be so easy to feel like you’re failing. Your kids won’t eat the food you cook, you’re being told you’re poisoning them with everyday ingredients, parenting accounts that make you feel like every imperfect moment is leaving a mark on your kid. That noise gets loud and sometimes it drowns out what actually matters.
I share the chaos of my home sometimes and I think more people live like that than not. So here I am, journaling like I always do on this page. Reflecting.
And if it makes you feel a little less alone, here’s my hug of solidarity. I was once told that the fact that you worry about being a good mama tells me exactly that you are. You’ve got this.
