If you’re in the Dallas area & are looking for fun activities to beat the heat, look no further then the Kimbell Art Museum. The Kimbell is located in Ft. Worth and is a good 45-50 minute drive outside of Dallas, but totally worth it. Admission to see the permanent exhibits on display is always free. However, they have amazing temporary exhibits that you do have to pay to get in to see. Again, worth it! The current temporary exhibit is a series of tapestries depicting a battle that happened during the Renaissance called “Art & War in the Renaissance: The Battle of Pavia Tapestries.” It was very well done and unlike anything I had seen before!
