Buy or Bye: Setting Spray Edition! 💋

I know it’s a big debate in the beauty community: does setting spray even work? For me personally, I totally think it makes a difference in the appearance and longevity of my makeup looks (but I could be making that up in my head)! 🥴

After all the hype on TikTok, I decided to try out the L’Oreal Infallible 3-Second Mist Setting Spray. I definitely had my hopes high because it was ALLLLL over my fyp! For comparison, my favorite setting spray is the Urban Decay All-Nighter.

This setting spray is…interesting. Coming out of the can, it very much appears and smells like hairspray. Putting it on my face it also FELT like hairspray. Something about the texture is almost sticky, but it dries down quickly once applied. After application, I found that my face felt really stiff? I couldn’t really move my face without noticing the product. As for lasting power - it does the job, and it does it WELL! My makeup didn’t really budge (look posted in second pic!), and I felt that I didn’t look too oily by the end of the day.

Overall, I would say if you like lighter setting sprays to definitely avoid this one. If you have an event where you want your making to look snatched, definitely pick up a bottle!

... Read moreSetting sprays have become increasingly popular in the beauty industry, especially on social platforms like TikTok, where quick, instant results are highly sought after. The L’Oreal Infallible 3-Second Mist Setting Spray is marketed as a product that locks your makeup in place for hours, promising a fresh look throughout the day. It's crucial to consider your skin type when choosing a setting spray. Users with oily skin may prefer mattifying sprays that help control oil, while those with dry skin can look for hydrating formulas. Additionally, understanding the ingredients is essential. Look for setting sprays with glycerin to help absorb moisture or those that contain vitamin E for added nourishment. The technique of application also matters; holding the spray at least eight inches away from your face allows for an even mist, avoiding a sticky or stiff finish. For those planning to attend events, a setting spray can be a game changer in ensuring your makeup remains flawless under various conditions. Overall, it's about finding the right match for your makeup needs and preferences. Have you tried any setting sprays that worked wonders for your makeup? Buy!!! Yes the scent is strong and it comes out with a lot of pressure and it’s sticky but once it dries which is a few seconds later then there’s no problem at all… I Live it because it doesn’t have my face looking oily and it’s inexpensive
