The shop is really easy to find on B1 of Westgate, making it convenient for a quick stop. Beyond the popular meat floss buns, I recommend trying their pistachio mochi bun and walnut cranberry scone if you want to explore more flavors, though they might not be as outstanding as the buns and egg tarts.
The freshness is remarkable since 鲍师傅 is committed to baking in-house, which really shines through in the crispy textures and creamy fillings. The pistachio egg tarts, rich and smooth, perfectly balance sweetness, while the mochi butter breads deliver a delightful crunch without being too sweet—ideal if you prefer lighter pastries.
It's worth noting that the pastries offer a nice variety, combining traditional Chinese flavors with subtle modern twists, such as the cranberry walnut scone, which brings a bit of Western influence.
For those new to 鲍师傅, starting with the meat floss buns and mochi butter breads is a safe bet. They’re addictive enough to make you want to return!
Overall, if you’re around Jurong East or Westgate, it’s a delicious stop for a snack or dessert. Keep an eye on their menu updates for seasonal specials or new items.
Enjoy your pastry adventure at 鲍师傅!
