💻 Advertising Career Review: Media Planner / Digital Marketing Manager (Updated this year, 2025)

💡 What are you doing?

• Plan online advertising materials on all platforms available to the brand (Facebook, IG, WFP, Google, X, Line, etc.)

• Administer advertising statements + Analyze advertising campaign results

• Work with Creative Team / Content / Productions

• Update digital trends all the time because the online world changes every day, no holidays.

✅ Advantages / opportunities

• Suitable for people who like to plan, especially strategically

• Have trained in media analysis and job presentation skills

• Fun, challenging, unrecognizable work

• Use "brain + creativity"

• You can do this if you are basic, learned, trained or experienced.

• High growth opportunities in digital lines (especially Data / Performances)

• Have the opportunity to engage in special work related to the line, earning extra income in addition to salary.

⚠️ Disadvantages / challenges / limitations

• Expedited tasks and deadlines are very frequent. 🧠🔥 The plan must be adjusted and calculated all the time.

• Must follow trends all the time. There is no "really offline," such as updating the platform's new tools and designing the most accurate measurements.

• There is always pressure on balance / performance because every baht must be used cost-effectively. The cost must be the lowest, while the result must be the highest.

• Working with other parties that still have misunderstandings or disunderstandings about online numbers and measurements

• Risking office syndrome or health problems if the balance is not provided well enough for work, rest and exercise.

💰 2025 base salary (Thailand)

• Media Planner (Junior): 25,000-40,000 Baht

• Digital Marketing Manager (Mid-Senior): 60,000-120,000 + Baht
