21 Days Faith Challenge – Day #2

Today, I visited Christ Church. Before I went in, I suddenly felt prompted to bring $5 with me—and the admission fee was exactly $5.

I had planned to interview a pastor, but instead, I met a couple who have been married for 20 years after finding love again following the loss of a spouse. They preferred to share their testimony through their voices rather than on camera, so I recorded their story.

God’s plans are often different from ours, but always meaningful. ✨

Visiting Christ Church was a vivid reminder that faith journeys often lead us to unexpected yet profound experiences. The serendipity of having exactly $5 for the admission fee felt like a small but significant confirmation of being guided by a higher power. The church itself, rich with history as evidenced by memorial plaques honoring devoted members and leaders like Edward Lyon Clark and Ann Tallman D'A Costa, reminded me how faith communities preserve legacies of service and commitment. These historical records speak to the continuity of faith and service across generations. From this experience, I realized that God’s plans unfold uniquely for each person, often diverging from our own expectations but always carrying meaningful lessons. Embracing these moments with openness allows faith to deepen and grow. For anyone taking on a faith challenge or seeking spiritual renewal, visiting historic places of worship not only connects you to a community’s legacy but also creates space for personal reflection and unexpected blessings. This encounter reaffirmed that faith is a living journey shaped by stories, encounters, and divine guidance.
