Still standing strong!
Went for a hike to strawberry peak in Angeles National Forest, this past Saturday. We just had three huge fires here in California. I wanna say this is the bridge fire that started on a Saturday, September 8, 2024. Anyway, getting close to the end of the hike, I came across this tree. I thought, -damn, look at you! Fire couldn’t take it down. Charred from the outside but still standing strong and giving life. There’s lots of us that can relate. We’ve gone through so much and we’re still here. Smiling, happy, loving. I felt inspired by this tree. If you read this long, I hope this helps you in some way. Cause just like this tree… you’re still here after the fire you had to go through.

Hiking has long been recognized as a therapeutic activity, offering not just physical exercise but also mental rejuvenation. As you trek through stunning landscapes like those around Strawberry Peak, you encounter nature’s resilience firsthand. The charred trees represent survival and the beauty of rebirth. Just as fires cleanse the forest, our personal struggles often lead to growth and strength. It's crucial to embrace these lessons and find motivation in nature's ability to recover. Consider documenting your hikes; share your experiences to inspire others. Each trek can serve as a reminder that, like the enduring trees, we too can stand strong against life's adversities. Don't forget to capture the moments that resonate with your journey; they might inspire someone else on their path. Always remember: strength lies within, and every encounter in the wilderness can serve as a powerful metaphor for our own lives.

Love your sharing 💛 Welcome:)
