DIY to make old sneaks look ✨NEW✨

Silly me thought I could use bleach without making a mess so here is how I saved my adidas from being thrown away!

It was super simple & quick.

I used fat quarters (squares of fabric) and cut them to shape before gluing them down with E6000.

That’s it!

I think I like them better than the original lmao

You can easily give your old kicks a fresh new appearance with some creativity and simple materials. Start by selecting a fabric that matches your style; fat quarters are an excellent choice since they're affordable and come in various colors and patterns. Cut the fabric into shapes to cover scuffed areas or create unique designs. Next, securely attach the fabric pieces using a strong adhesive such as E6000, which is perfect for shoe projects as it provides a robust and lasting bond. Allow the glue to dry fully before wearing your newly transformed sneakers to ensure everything stays in place. Don't forget to add a personal touch—consider adding patches, fabric paint, or other embellishments to make the shoes even more unique. Sharing your before-and-after photos can inspire others to breathe new life into their worn-out footwear. With just a little bit of effort, what was once destined for the trash can can now be a fashion statement!
