Baby Bath Items on my Registry
Creating a baby shower gift registry can be super overwhelming! It found that adding items to my registry by category helped me understand what I wanted as a gift, and determine what I wanted to buy myself. I knew bath items would be great for my registry as that is an easy gift that can be thrown together and typically packaged as one!
Here’s a list of essential baby bath items that we have used from day one!
🫧baby bathtub: provides a safe and comfortable bathing environment for infants
🫧 mesh bath pad: keeps your baby comfy and warm by providing a soft place for them to lay while they soak in the warm water
🫧hooded towels and washcloths: opt for soft, hypoallergenic materials if possible
🫧baby shampoo and body wash: I prefer unscented products, and Dove works best for my family
🫧baby lotion: moisturizing baby lotion helps keep your baby’s skin soft and hydrated when applied after bath time
🫧rise cup: rinses shampoo out of baby’s hair while guarding their eyes and face
🫧bath toys: helps kids enjoy bath time, and allows for educational play such as reading bath books, naming the toy animals/characters, and playing with the water itself
🫧floor pad for knee support: comfort is important mama! Bathing your child can feel like a lot of work, so make yourself as comfortable as you can
Note: I have tried using bubble bath soap and I don’t recommend. It can be harsh on babies skin and increase the chances of them developing a urinary tract infection. Adding a small amount of baking soda to the water can support the natural detoxification process while helping their bodies relax.

When preparing for a baby, creating a thoughtful registry can streamline your shopping experience. Essential baby bath items, such as a baby bathtub, provide safety and comfort, ensuring your infant enjoys bath time. A mesh bath pad offers a soft surface for babies to lay on during their soak, while hooded towels keep them warm afterward. Selecting unscented baby shampoo and body wash, like those from Dove, can be gentle on sensitive skin. Additionally, a moisturizing baby lotion is vital for keeping skin hydrated, especially after a warm bath. Preventing irritation, a rinsing cup protects babies' eyes as you wash their hair. Bath toys not only make the bathing process fun but also encourage educational play. Soothing activities like reading bath books or naming toy animals can further enrich your baby's experience in the bath. Don't forget about your comfort! A supportive floor pad for your knees can improve your bathing experience. It’s important to note that while bubble bath soap might seem like a fun addition, it can be harsh for babies, potentially leading to skin irritation or infections. Instead, consider adding baking soda to bath water to naturally detoxify and soothe your baby during bath time. With these essential items in your registry, you'll be more than prepared for happy and safe bath experiences with your little one.

The shampoo rinse cup is the best!!!
