Sometimes I just hate how I look.. down to my hair, how I dress, all of it. I just recently started to dress how I WANT to versus just what’s comfortable, easy, and quick. So although I’m doing it, it takes a lot of time and energy. Plus, the days I don’t go all out have me feeling even worse because most of the times I look 🔥, so it looks
So bad the days I’m just in crappy lounge clothes. Though I’m doing better, I’m still not the woman who can pull off jeans/cargos with stilettos EVERYday but I’m slowly learning.
I think sometimes us women can get stuck in that dangerous cycle of comparing ourselves to others… “oh she pulled that off better, or “I wish I looked like that”, or “I wish I dressed like that” or “I wish my hair would do that”. I try not to but sometimes it’s inevitable. Plus I’m working on being a content creator so a lot of competition goes into me being like “damn these people have this big of a following, what do they have that I don’t?”
It doesn’t help that I’ve gained 10lbs per month all year long. I officially weigh more than I ever did while being 9 months pregnant during my 3 pregnancies. I think the highest I ever got was 160. I am 193 now and my entire life I’ve been 120-135. So that’s hard because I rhave been l foreign in my body.. I don’t know HOW to carry it. After 4 months of trying weight loss my drs way (no carbs, working out, healthy diet) they have finally agreed to let me do my weight loss injections since I’ve been doing what they said plus working out 4x a week and am still 193. I am used to throwing on anything and it looking good, but right now certain things just don’t go with my body shape. Has anyone tried these injections?
I want to be in a place where I am completely happy with myself and get flattered when people try to recreate MY outfits and beauty/hair style. One day at a time I am working on myself during this healing and self love journey I am on, and I know one day I will reach a place of content.
