$39k Reno : Work and Play Room
From the start, we knew we wanted the work + play room to be clean, bright, and conducive. Knocking down the wall and adding these soundproof sliding windows brought more daylight in and visually expanded the space.
Instead of a traditional curtain, we spent weeks finding a sheer roller blind that blocks enough sun but still lets daylight in. On most days we don’t even turn on the lights.

Fan shopping was a lesson learned from the first reno. Testing in showrooms isn’t always accurate with aircon running. So we searched high and low for corner fan with high RPM for real airflow at the desk. Fan was so strong that we rarely have to turn on the aircon.
