“(John 17:17) 17 Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth.”
In Jesus’ prayer, He asks the Father to sanctify His disciples, to set them apart, shape them, and make them holy. Notice the means by which this happens: truth, and not just any truth, but God’s Word, which Jesus declares is truth.
Sanctification isn’t something we achieve by effort alone. It is something God works in us as we submit to His Word. Every time we open Scripture with a willing heart, the Spirit uses it like a chisel, shaping our thoughts, desires, and character to look more like Christ.
Let Scripture be the standard that defines truth in your life.
Ask God to expose anything in you that doesn’t align with His Word.
Approach the Bible not just for information, but for transformation.
Have you ever considered what life would be like without Gods word to guide your steps?
Without it, values drift, decisions wobble, and your sense of purpose would be distorted. But with Scripture eyes open, your life aligns, your perspective changes, you begin to see yourself, others, and God with clarity.
You allow His word to continually change your heart and throughs by His truth.
Are you allowing Gods word to sanctify you by His truth? Are you allowing His word to shape your thoughts, correct your steps, and deepen your love for God? Are you allowing Gods word to change you as you walk in His Truth to become more like Jesus?
