Meditation & Clarity

One of the things that helped me through cancer was meditation.

Not pretending everything was okay. Not denying reality. But training my mind to stop living in fear every second of the day.

I learned that healing is not just physical. Your thoughts matter too. Your nervous system matters. Your peace matters.

For me, meditation looked like sitting with scripture, taking nature walks, sitting in nature, breathing deeply, praying, calming my thoughts, and refusing to let fear speak louder than faith.

In the middle of scans, treatments, appointments, and uncertainty… learning how to quiet my mind became part of my healing journey. 🎀

Importantly, meditation doesn’t mean ignoring reality; instead, it encourages acceptance and presence without judgment. This mindset allows fear to lose its grip and faith to take precedence, providing a sense of control when so much feels uncertain. If you are on a healing journey, consider starting with just a few minutes a day devoted to mindful breathing or sitting in nature. You might find comfort in pairing meditation with spiritual readings or affirmations that resonate with your beliefs.
