... Read moreFrom my personal experience, I learned that clearing persistent skin issues such as acne and eczema goes far beyond topical treatments. Initially, I focused heavily on skincare products, trying everything from cleansers to creams without success. It wasn’t until I explored the link between gut health and skin that I saw real improvement. What became clear was how conditions like leaky gut allow endotoxins to enter the bloodstream, causing systemic inflammation that manifests as skin flare-ups. I also discovered that dysbiosis, or an imbalance in gut bacteria, disrupts estrogen metabolism. This hormonal imbalance leads to increased androgens, which cause excess oil production and clogged pores, worsening acne. Another factor was poor bile flow, which impaired the absorption of fat-soluble vitamins A, D, E, and K—nutrients critical for maintaining a healthy skin barrier. Without these vitamins, the skin's ability to repair and protect itself diminishes significantly. By adopting a gut reset program focused on anti-inflammatory foods, probiotics, and liver detox support, I noticed a gradual reduction in skin issues. These insights suggest that rather than masking symptoms with skincare products alone, addressing underlying gut health can lead to clearer, healthier skin. For those struggling with stubborn acne or eczema, looking inward at your digestive health might be the key to unlocking lasting skin wellness.
