Yummy breakfast cafe: Moonchild 🌙✨☕️ cafe diaries ⭐️
Hi 🍋8 pals,
I’ve always wanted to visit this cafe when it went viral a while ago and finally managed to make a trip down for brunch with some friends! 😆
⭐ Rating: 4/5
Swipe to see what we got!
We ordered 2x hotcakes with different toppings (one with berry compote and a savoury one with bacon and chicken sausage)
My favourite dish has to be the scallop rose mafaldine 😋 if you’re a fan of seafood and pasta, I would recommend trying it! 😆
The ambiance was really nice too with good amount of indoor and outdoor space~
Do check it out if you’re looking for a decent cafe in the east!
If you’re planning a visit to Moonchild Cafe, I highly recommend trying their scallop rose mafaldine pasta if you enjoy seafood and crave something more than typical cafe fare. The pasta is flavorful, with fresh scallops that complement the creamy rose sauce beautifully. For breakfast lovers, the hotcakes are a must-try. You get options like the sweet hotcakes topped with berry compote and berry butter for that fruity tang, or a savory version loaded with bacon and chicken sausage, which is very satisfying and filling. The cafe itself, located at 351 Jln Besar, Singapore 208988, offers a relaxing atmosphere with both ample indoor and outdoor seating, making it a great choice whether you want to cozy up inside or enjoy the fresh air outside. I also noticed their menu includes a spicy chorizo eggs & avo dish, which looked tempting and could be a great option if you like a bit of kick to start your day. Prices are reasonable, around SGD 20 to 24 for mains, which is standard for cafe dining in the area. Overall, Moonchild is a solid choice if you’re in the Eastern Singapore area and looking for a nice cafe with tasty coffee and a diverse menu. Definitely worth dropping by for a relaxed brunch with friends or family.
