2d1n bruny island ft stunning Airbnb
Most online posts/vids recommend a day trip to bruny island from Tasmania and that was initially our plan too. However we accidentally messed up our accoms booking for other parts of the trip which ‘forced’ us to stay a night. This mishap led us to this beautiful Airbnb just look at how the golden hour pours into the house 🥹 there’s also campfire outside as well as BBQ pit on the deck!
Here’s how we spent our 2d1n
- took the noon ferry and headed to Get Shucked first thing
- then stopped by Bruny Island Honey
- then rushed to Truganini Lookout before the sun sets
- checked into our airbnb and cooked our own dinner (would highly recommend getting grocery before heading to the island which was what we did)
- checked out early the next morning to reach Bruny Baker Bread Fridge at 10am which is supposedly when they restock their breads daily
There honestly isn’t much to do on Bruny but being a city gal my whole life, I really appreciated slowing down.
