Another crucial aspect is avoiding over-washing, as washing hair too frequently can worsen dryness. Using natural oils like coconut oil or tea tree oil, diluted appropriately, can calm irritation and reduce flakes effectively. Keeping hydrated and maintaining a balanced diet also play significant roles in overall scalp health. Stress sometimes triggers scalp issues and tension, so focusing on relaxation and stress relief techniques helped me manage flare-ups. Lastly, protecting hair from harsh environmental factors such as sun exposure and cold winds can prevent further scalp damage.
