NYC on my bday week was a dream come true 💖

... Read moreWhen I decided to celebrate my birthday week in New York City, I knew it would be special, but it truly exceeded my wildest dreams! If you're looking to enjoy NYC and make your birthday unforgettable, I'm so excited to share some highlights and tips from my recent trip. It's the perfect destination to make incredible memories. My mornings often started with a classic NYC bagel – seriously, you have to try one with cream cheese, tomatoes, and capers; it's a game-changer for breakfast! I’d grab an iced coffee, often from a charming spot like 'Dear Coffee NYC,' just soaking in the city vibe before diving into my day. There's nothing quite like walking through a bustling city street, surrounded by those incredible tall buildings, feeling the energy and pulse of New York. Every corner offers a new photo opportunity, whether it's a quick selfie or capturing the vibrant street scenes. One of the absolute must-sees was the Brooklyn Bridge. Standing on the wooden pier overlooking the water, with the iconic bridge and the Manhattan skyline in the background, was breathtaking – perfect for a moment of reflection or a killer selfie! And of course, gazing up at the majestic One World Trade Center skyscraper, reflecting the clouds, is an experience in itself. The modern architectural structures framing it are just phenomenal. I also loved just wandering and discovering unexpected gems. We stumbled upon an ancient stone carving depicting three figures and hieroglyphs, magically illuminated by rainbow-colored light and projected onto a textured stone wall – it was so unique and felt like stepping into another world amidst the modern city. For lunch, finding a charming outdoor restaurant with a red and white striped awning, reading the menu and watching the world go by, was pure bliss. It's these little moments that truly help you enjoy NYC. Evenings were all about soaking up the vibrant atmosphere. NYC's nightlife is legendary, and we definitely experienced some of that. From dimly lit rooms with cool red lighting and disco balls creating a lively ambiance, to just enjoying the buzz of the city, there’s always something happening. And because it's NYC, even a simple mirror selfie in my apartment, complete with a leaf-patterned phone case, felt chic! To truly enjoy NYC for your birthday, my advice is to mix the iconic landmarks with spontaneous discoveries. Don't be afraid to just walk, explore different neighborhoods, and let the city surprise you. Every corner holds something new, whether it's a delicious meal, stunning views, or a unique art installation. This birthday week was filled with so many incredible moments, and I can't recommend celebrating in New York City enough. It truly felt like a dream come true, and I hope you get to experience your own unforgettable trip!
