Just got banished from the bridal party!

So… My best friend if 12 years decided to make me maid of honor at her wedding. I spent $500 on plane tickets to New York and I couldn’t wait! I had never been to a wedding, especially not Maid of Honor! It soon took a turn for the worst when I realized her partner was extremely abusive to her and she would call me crying about how she didn’t feel safe to even sleep around him. I made some calls to make sure she had a place to go that was safe and then he found out… He removed me from the bridal party group chat and she unfollowed me on everything for “not supporting” the wedding. Not only have I lost a 12 year friendship but I won’t get to see her walk down the aisle.
