So I talk about plants and health mostly here. I am on an extreme journey of healing.
We are not our traumas by nature … but they influence and change who we are as we function from a traumatic place … effectively changing who we would have been.
Now - I used to drown in the grief of that idea. But .. I’ve learned that I can actively do things and change again and again and again!
I’m 18 years in this quitting systems thing. These things I’ve quit kept me from accessing spaces within myself, power within myself that had grown dormant overtime. I can no longer just give my full potential, my purpose and one ☝🏾 life to chronic illness, depression and immense earth bound pressures.
Anyway - since I was a child I’ve had the power to grow things. I’ve always wrapped cuts with leaves and things without any ‘formal’ education. For a long time … I healed my physical, and masked my mental and emotional well being. Youth can hide it - but as you age it’ll begin to seep through your skin, breaking down those surface layers.
So….
A list of things I’ve quit that’s allowed my body to heal from the inside out:
1. Smoking
2. Flaming Cheetos
3. Starbucks
4. Energy Drinks
5. My first ex best friend
6. A few jobs
7. W-2 jobs
8. Fast Food
9. Caring too much
10. The western eating habits (what, how, why and when I eat)
