I know firsthand how frustrating it can be when you're trying to search for survivors and keep your team intact against overwhelming odds. Mastering Elevated Rescue Missions Elevated rescue missions in Arknights Endfield often throw unique challenges our way. I remember one particular mission where the terrain itself felt like an enemy! The key here is usually verticality and positioning. Enemies, particularly the flying Aggeloi, can come from unexpected angles, and limited cover means your ranged operatives are crucial. My personal strategy involves bringing at least two strong ranged units, ideally one with good anti-air capabilities. Look for natural high ground to gain an advantage, and always be mindful of environmental hazards – a misplaced push can send an operative plummeting, or a strong gust of wind can throw off your aim. I’ve found that placing a sturdy defender like Collins at a key choke point can buy valuable time while your snipers and casters clear the threats from above and afar. Navigating Deep Management Post Rescues These missions feel like a whole different beast. Deep management posts are often characterized by cramped spaces, multiple enemy waves, and tougher elite units. You're usually dealing with prolonged engagements, which means resource management and sustain are paramount. My advice? Bring operators with strong Area-of-Effect (AoE) capabilities to handle swarms, and at least one reliable single-target damage dealer for those pesky elites. Healers or shielders are almost non-negotiable here to keep your team healthy over time. I usually try to scout enemy patrol paths early on to set up ambushes and avoid getting surrounded, especially when the infected start showing up. Efficient skill usage is also key; don’t blow all your powerful skills on the first wave! Dealing with Dangerous Wildlife and Aggeloi Dangerous wildlife can be unpredictable. Many have specific weaknesses, like being vulnerable to Arts damage or physical damage, so knowing your enemy is half the battle. I always check their profiles if I'm having trouble. The Aggeloi, however, are a consistent headache. Their aerial nature means ground-only units are useless against them, and their dive attacks can quickly incapacitate your operatives. Prioritize bringing dedicated anti-air operators. Sometimes, even deploying a fast-redeploy specialist to bait their attacks can save your core team from critical damage. Understanding and Countering the Infected The infected units add a significant layer of difficulty to any mission, especially rescues where you're trying to protect vulnerable survivors. They often apply nasty debuffs or spread infection, which can quickly spiral out of control. My strategy typically involves isolation tactics. Try to burst down infected units as quickly as possible to prevent them from spreading their effects. Operators with cleansing abilities or strong healing can mitigate the debuffs, but sometimes, avoiding prolonged engagements with them is the best option. I focus on taking them out before they can overwhelm my front lines, ensuring my search for survivors isn't hampered by an entire squad getting debuffed. Optimizing Training & Adapting to Power Creep To keep up with Endfield's challenges, especially as new content and operators are introduced (what some call 'power creep'), effective use of training material is crucial. I focus on upgrading the skills of my core team first, as skill levels often provide a bigger power boost than raw stats. Don't hoard your training material! As for power creep, instead of constantly chasing the newest, strongest operative, I try to understand the core mechanics and focus on building versatile teams. Sometimes, an older, well-trained operative with unique utility can outperform a brand new one if their skills align with the mission's demands.
