Part 3 XP FARMS ARE NOT SAFE On The Nemesis SMP#luigi #minecraft #fyppppppppppppppppppppppp #viral #game
Okay, so you saw my last post about how XP farms aren't safe on the Nemesis SMP, and man, did I learn that the hard way! It's not just about dealing with mobs; on any survival multiplayer server, especially one as competitive as Nemesis, there are so many other factors that make these farms risky business. First off, visibility. A lot of us build these huge, elaborate contraptions, and while they might be efficient, they're basically giant beacons saying, "Hey, come grief me!" or "Free loot here!" I've had situations where I was just grinding away, and suddenly, a wild player appeared. Remember that moment when I almost died when I couldn't clutch? That was exactly what happened near my farm! And then there's the chatter, like when someone whispered, "you took my levels" – it just shows how easily conflicts can arise around these precious resources. Another huge problem is server performance and mob caps. If everyone on Nemesis SMP is trying to run a massive mob farm, it can cause lag, which nobody likes. Plus, if you're not careful with your design, you might run into mob cap limits, making your farm way less efficient than you hoped. Imagine spending hours on a build only for it to barely produce any XP! It's soul-crushing. So, what's a player to do? If you're still determined to have an XP farm, try to build it in a super remote, well-hidden location. Consider deep underground, or if the server allows, out in the nether_wastes. Just make sure it's chunk-loaded if you want it to run while you're away. Security is key! Think about secret entrances, obsidian walls, and maybe even some redstone traps if you're feeling fancy. Alternatively, consider other XP sources that might be safer or less conspicuous. A well-designed villager trading hall can generate tons of XP through trading. Plus, you get valuable resources! Or, if you're into combat, setting up a gold farm in the Nether using piglins can be super effective and often easier to secure against other players. Plus, you get gold for days! No matter your method, always be prepared. Having a good crossbow with enchantments like Piercing IV and Unbreaking III isn't just for fighting mobs; it's also for defending yourself against unexpected visitors. And always, always keep your most valuable experience bottles and loot stored securely, perhaps in an Ender Chest, so you don't lose everything if your farm goes sideways. Let me know your best tips for safe XP grinding on SMPs in the comments!
