STRENGTH OF GOD JUDGES 3

We do not have the strength, to provide consistent commitment for our redemption, only God can empower us His people!!! I believe that everything we experience comes through You God, Jesus Christ we need Your everlasting covenant to transition to the Father!!! Showing the Father that our humanity is not strong enough to develop into the defender of this World without Your power, to defeat unGodly predators!!!

Judges 3:7 The Israelites did evil in the eyes of the Lord; they forgot the Lord their God and served the Baals and the Asherahs. 8 The anger of the Lord burned against Israel so that he sold them into the hands of Cushan-Rishathaim king of Aram Naharaim, to whom the Israelites were subject for eight years. 9 But when they cried out to the Lord, he raised up for them a deliverer, Othniel son of Kenaz, Caleb’s younger brother, who saved them. 10 The Spirit of the Lord came on him, so that he became Israel’s judge and went to war. The Lord gave Cushan-Rishathaim king of Aram into the hands of Othniel, who overpowered him. 11 So the land had peace for forty years, until Othniel son of Kenaz died.

... Read moreThe account of Judges 3 highlights a crucial moment in Israel’s history where human weakness meets divine strength. After turning away from God and serving Baals and Asherahs, the Israelites faced punishment through subjugation under Cushan-Rishathaim, king of Aram Naharaim. Yet, this story illustrates God’s mercy and power as He responds to Israel's cries by raising Othniel, a fearless deliverer empowered by the Spirit of the Lord. Othniel’s leadership demonstrates that true strength comes not from human effort alone but from God’s empowerment. Acting as a judge and warrior, he led Israel against their oppressors, bringing peace for four decades. This narrative underscores the theme that consistent commitment and victory over adversaries are impossible without divine support. Today, this message resonates deeply with believers facing challenges in their spiritual and everyday lives. Just as Othniel depended on God’s power to overcome enemies, modern followers are reminded to seek God’s strength to persevere in their faith and overcome life’s spiritual battles. The concept of an everlasting covenant through Jesus Christ remains a beacon of hope, linking humanity’s weakness to God’s limitless power. Moreover, the story serves as a warning against turning away from God to false idols, emphasizing the consequences of such actions and the hope of restoration through repentance. For individuals seeking spiritual growth, Judges 3 is a powerful reminder that although human strength falters, divine strength enables redemption, justice, and lasting peace in communities and hearts alike.
