"Doing nothing" is one of self-care.
Have you ever felt guilty...
When "didn't do anything"?
The day I just sat at home and didn't answer the chat.
Not reading, not working.
And in my heart I secretly thought, "Are we too lazy?"
But the truth is... our bodies and our hearts are needing a "break."
And that's not wrong.
Because we are taught by the environment to be diligent and productive all the time.
I forgot... even our phones have to charge.
What about us?
How to keep using your energy without resting?
Sometimes "do nothing."
It may be the only thing our body and heart need the most.
And we'll start to hear more voices in ourselves.
It's a rhythm where we really get "on ourselves."
Try to sit and sip tea without holding your hand.
Try walking. Stay with nature without playing music.
Or just look at the sky.
Don't have a goal. Just give yourself a "stop."
And when we stopped,
"What do we really want?"
"What should be let go" and "What should be restarted?"
It's good to let yourself get some rest.
Because of "doing nothing."
It's a kind of self-care, too.
