🍿 Review # Sorcerer Kingi J-Horror is an adaptation of the famous novel "The Sorcerer District in the Kingki Region" by Seizuchi.
"King Ki" is a region of Japan (officially called the Kansai region), where the belief in ghosts, the mysteries of the Japanese side, is quite different from our home: there is a belief in the cult of demons, giants, or yokai, which in this story is very interesting.

The King King hero tells a story through found footage drawn from all formats, from VHS tapes, CDs, television shows, video tapes to live streams, each of which gives a different hallucination. The key is to rate all forms of realism (I want everyone to look very intently at the "hanging house" park, which is scary. The analog horror people who think they are immune to this kind of thing are used to it and still have a little bit of cunning).

There are not many characters in the main story, but they can tell a story well, not sleepy, and can be watched until the end of the story. จากที่ได้ชมหนังอาถรรพ์คิงคิ ผมรู้สึกได้เลยว่าความโดดเด่นของภาพยนตร์เรื่องนี้อยู่ที่การสร้างบรรยากาศผ่านสื่อเก่าอย่างเทป VHS หรือแผ่นซีดี ที่ทำให้ความรู้สึกความหลอนได้เพิ่มขึ้นอย่างมาก ซึ่งต่างจากหนังผีทั่วไปที่มักจะเน้นโชว์ผีเยอะๆ แต่เรื่องนี้ผีแต่ละตัวนั้นเหมือนมีน้ำหนักและความน่ากลัวแบบเนียนๆ ไม่ได้ปล่อยผีออกมาบ่อยจนดูตลก ตัวผมเองชอบฉาก “บ้านแขวนคอ” ซึ่งเป็นฉากที่หลายคนน่าจะพูดถึงว่าหลอนสุด ๆ อย่างที่รีวิวแนะนำจริงๆ นอกจากความหลอนแล้ว การเล่าเรื่องแบบ found footage ทำให้มีมิติของความสมจริงและลึกลับผสมกัน ไม่ใช่แค่เล่าเรื่องผีอย่างเดียว แต่ทำให้เราคอยจับสังเกตจากบทสนทนาและคีย์เวิร์ดที่แต่ละตัวละครพูด เพื่อทำนายว่าเรื่องราวจะจบลงแบบไหน ซึ่งช่วยให้คนดูที่ชอบตีความไขปริศนาได้สนุกไปกับหนังมากขึ้น เรื่องราวตั้งอยู่ในภูมิภาคคิงคิหรือคันไซของญี่ปุ่น ซึ่งมีพื้นฐานความเชื่อเกี่ยวกับโยไคและปีศาจในลักษณะที่แตกต่างจากวัฒนธรรมไทย นี่ก็เป็นอีกจุดที่ทำให้หนังเรื่องนี้โดดเด่นสำหรับผู้ชมไทย เพราะได้เห็นภาพวิถีความเชื่อในญี่ปุ่นที่ลึกซึ้งและมีสีสันต่างออกไปอย่างแท้จริง โดยส่วนตัว ผมคิดว่าหนังเรื่องนี้เหมาะมากสำหรับคนที่อยากสัมผัสประสบการณ์หนังผีแบบใหม่ ไม่ได้เน้นความเลือดสาดหรือผีจ๋าสมบูรณ์แบบ แต่เน้นไปที่ความรู้สึกหลอนแบบค่อยเป็นค่อยไปและทริกการเล่าเรื่องที่แปลกและไม่ซ้ำใคร ใครที่ยังไม่ได้อ่านนิยายก็ไม่ต้องกังวล เพราะหนังสร้างอรรถรสและความเข้าใจได้ดีในตัวเอง สร้างความสนุกแก่คนดูได้ตั้งแต่ต้นจนจบอย่างเต็มอิ่ม ถ้าคุณชอบหนังสยองขวัญที่มีความลึกลับและบรรยากาศแบบญี่ปุ่นแท้ๆ เรื่องนี้ถือว่าไม่ควรพลาด และถ้าชอบแนว found footage กับ analog horror ที่เป็นแนวเฉพาะตัว ก็ยิ่งควรไปลองชมในโรงภาพยนตร์วันที่ 26 กุมภาพันธ์นี้ครับ
