From ages 3 to 8, many face confusion and helplessness, not knowing how to process difficult emotions. For me, this period was marked by uncertainty and intense feelings of vulnerability. As children, we often lack the tools to fully express or comprehend the pain we endure, which can make early years particularly challenging. Between 8 and 12 years, the struggle continues as we start to become more aware of our surroundings and the impact of those early experiences. I remember moments where I craved normalcy and connection but felt isolated. The image of different 'fairies' representing ages showed how I mentally categorized my childhood into segments, each carrying its own memories and emotional weight. During adolescence, from 13 to 17, the effects of trauma may manifest through changes in behavior, relationships, or self-image. For me, music and following bands like One Direction provided a temporary escape and helped me find pieces of joy amid turmoil. However, the aftermath of childhood trauma lingered, influencing my present-day life in subtle and overt ways. Today, understanding that I am not alone has been a crucial part of my healing journey. Connecting with others who share similar experiences can provide support and reduce feelings of isolation. Recognizing the lasting impact of childhood trauma allows for greater self-compassion and the hope for eventual growth and recovery. If this reflects your reality, remember reaching out to supportive communities or professionals can be an important step toward healing.

You could always consider asking Jesus for comfort and guidance. He helped me when I was in pain and now I walk with Him. I feel more free, free from the weight of past and my mind. Not forcing you, just considering.♡
