I loved this story! It’s such a fun modern-day take on witches. We follow Sadako and Hanako as they each figure out what being a witch means to them.
I’m going to need Volume 2 immediately because I am invested! Learning that poor Sadako had been locked away for over 100 years, only to finally experience the outside world by becoming a cloth influencer, was both funny and heartbreaking.
Then there’s Hanako, Sadako’s biggest hater, who also happens to be a witch with super strength. People constantly judge her just for standing up for herself, and don’t even get me started on her so-called friend, Yoshi. The way he turned on her? Absolutely not. I would never make him my roommate.
I’m really hoping the next volume lets Sadako and Hanako become genuine friends because Hanako deserves someone who’s actually kind to her. Even if she is basically a beautiful Hercules.
I can’t wait to pick up the next volume! Meeting the coven and seeing everyone’s different powers was so much fun, and I’m excited to see where the story goes next.
