Charm Bracelet DIY
As I’ve been getting more into jewelry lately, one of my new favorite hobbies is actually making them. I did it as one of the activities I planned for a girls’ night. Not only is it fun to make but you get to customize it to your style and create your own unique jewelry stack!
I get all of my supplies from Michael’s, but I’m sure you can find them anywhere else. Here’s what you need👇🏾:
• bracelet base - this is the actual bracelet that you’ll attach the charms to. I get mine in packs of 2-3 for roughly $3, but it will vary on the kind you get.
• Charms (the fun part) - there are so many kinds to choose from, but it’s cheaper to buy them in packs of 6-12 for $4-$7 rather than buying them individually.
• pliers - depending on the type of bracelet base you have (such as a chain), you will need pliers to open the jump rings and attach them to the bracelet. I got a mini pack of 3 for about $6.
• extra jump rings ($2) - not necessary, but just for in case the ones that come with the charms break or if you want to change them, etc.
Once you get all of your supplies, you get to pick out the charms and design them however you like! I’ve gotten quite a few compliments on the ones I have made, and it’s lowkey a flex getting to say that you made them yourself lol. Should I make an in-depth tutorial?
