Everyone, get ready. The latest renderings of the iPhone 20 have come out, and this may be the 20th anniversary release in the key next year. The thing to watch is the quad-curved screen design, or the four-sided curved screen. In Jon Prosser's video from the Front Page Tech channel, it shows an omnidirectional curved edge. With the news that Samsung will be the maker of the OLED.
What's worth noting from the renderings is that there are only two cameras behind the machine, which makes you think that this curved screen design may not only have a monopoly on the top model, but the beginning model may have used it as well.
There was an interesting change in internal specs, starting with the conversion of battery technology to Silicon-anode, which allows higher capacity batteries to be inserted in the same space.
Making it last a leap, the processing chip will be the A21 that Apple is rumored to be switching to Intel's factory to produce, and also a new HDR camera sensor ready to push the limits of mobile photography.
Importantly, for Apple Intelligence to work fully, Apple will be switching to HBM or High-Bandwidth Memory mobile devices next year. Samsung has just found a way to successfully implement this type of ram on devices other than servers. It may also be a handshake to deliver this ram to the iPhone 20. It's a wait to see how the real thing matches the renderer.
