Final thoughts: first off shoutout to @teddy1313 For recommending this to me I gotta say this one was a real breath of fresh air I enjoyed every moment of this!! It had me jumping up excited as a little school girl at all the 80s horror references. The special effects are amazing the story is great as it follows the theme of urban legends. The soundtrack just slaps and there’s plenty of laughs and action to be enjoyed I would honestly love a copy of the dvd for my collection!!for those who have seen it what did you think and for those who haven’t I hope you enjoy it just as much as I did!! Don’t forget leave your comments below and let me know what your favorite horror movie is.

... Read moreHaving recently watched 'Teddy Told Me To,' I can wholeheartedly say it stands out as a unique blend of horror and comedy that pays homage to classic 80s slasher films. What truly grabbed my attention was how the film skillfully balances suspense with humor, making it enjoyable for fans of both genres. The story centers around Danny and Zoe's efforts to bring back an old spook house attraction, which is a premise that taps into the nostalgic thrill of haunted house experiences. The resurgence of the original killer, Teddy, brings a menacing but at times darkly comedic presence. The usage of urban legend themes adds layers that keep viewers intrigued. I particularly appreciated the special effects—they were impressively crafted and added a tangible sense of fear and excitement without relying on excessive gore. The soundtrack deserves special mention; its vibrant, pulsing rhythms perfectly match the film’s entertaining atmosphere and bolster the 80s throwback vibe. Another aspect I enjoyed was the numerous subtle references to iconic 80s horror films, which felt like little Easter eggs for genre enthusiasts. These nostalgic nods heightened my engagement and made the viewing experience feel more immersive. The film doesn’t take itself too seriously, which is refreshing and allows for some genuinely funny moments that break up the tension effectively. For anyone looking to expand their horror movie collection or just in the mood for a scary good time with lots of laughs, 'Teddy Told Me To' is a must-watch. Whether streamed on Tubi, Amazon Prime Video, or even YouTube, it’s accessible and worth checking out. I’d love to hear others’ thoughts on this film and how it compares to other horror-comedies they’ve enjoyed. Also curious what your favorite horror movie is and if you appreciate 80s references like those in this movie!
