I've also noticed that avoiding spicy foods, caffeine, and alcohol in the evenings reduces the frequency of night sweats. Exercise can be a double-edged sword; while regular physical activity helps balance hormones over time, exercising too close to bedtime can trigger night sweats immediately. So, timing your workouts earlier in the day makes a positive difference. Additionally, some women find relief using natural supplements like black cohosh or evening primrose oil, but it's essential to consult a healthcare provider before starting these. If night sweats are severe, hormone therapy prescribed by a doctor may be appropriate. Remember that night sweats and other perimenopausal symptoms vary widely among women, so tailoring your approach based on personal triggers and comfort is key.
