[ Meet my cat: Jinx ]

We have had Jinx since she was about 7-8 weeks. She ran straight into a wall and my partner had to have her. She’s 3 years old now! She’s a very anxious cat. She will hide if anyone comes in the house, even if it’s people who come over regularly. But when she gets comfortable she is the absolute sweetest cuddle bug ever. She is the first cat I have ever seen chase her own tail.

⭐️Overall rating: 10/10

Jinx's anxiety when guests arrive is common in cats, as many pets require time to acclimate to new people and environments. Understanding feline anxiety can help owners provide a more comforting home. Here's how to manage a cat's anxiety: 1. Create safe spaces with cozy hideouts for your cat to retreat to. 2. Maintain a consistent routine that helps your cat feel secure. 3. Use gentle encouragement and be patient when introducing new people. Caring for an anxious cat like Jinx involves recognizing their needs for personal space and time. Rewards such as treats can help build confidence when they approach guests.
