Men need money to become a member of his own family.
The modern man is not exhausted because fatherhood asks too much of him. He is exhausted because the modern world has severed duty from love, provision from honor, and sacrifice from covenant. A man was never meant to buy membership in his own family.
He was meant to belong to it, serve it, lead it, be corrected by it, and be loved within it. His paycheck may be one expression of his responsibility, but it is not the source of his dignity, God is. The home is not a marketplace. It is a covenant.
