Germany has many lakes around but only Lake Eibsee features Germany’s highest peak in the background - The Zugspitze. If you’re not taking a day trip from Munich, I highly recommend staying for a few days a Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Locals love this city as it’s the home to the Bavarian Alps.
