films I watched this past week in my studio
starting a new series showing what I watched in my studio! i’m a senior ceramic student working on my final thesis!! I like to watch movies while I do my work! I just wanna document what i’ve watched and I’ll add my ratings as well!
🖤Saltburn(2023)
- I really liked this one! definitely weird lol but I thought it was beautiful! plot was a bit lacking but definitely a fun story!

- this was cute, I love elvira she’s so iconic! kinda slow and lost me in some places but still fun!

- I LOVE THIS MOVIE! literally one of my faves! i’ve written papers about this movie, it’s just so good! a great critique of capitalism and the invisible victims under it!

🖤Mother of Monsters(2020)
- this was slow and tough to get through. the concept was cool and I love a good unreliable narrator film! the plot was kind of a miss for me tho

🖤The Square(2013)
- had to watch this for a class and ended up loving it! very interesting story about the Tahrir Square protests that took place in Cairo 2011. A good look at what the people in Egypt faced under a corrupt government and the activists that pushed for change

- this was so so cute! so fun and just so random! I related so much to Maddie and the want for love and family! such a fun watch! also Lucy Dacus on the soundtrack!!!!!!!
