I’m learning to step out of my comfort zone and embrace my hair journey. Being a girl in the military, some places I’ve been stationed aren’t always Black girl-friendly, so I had to become a DIY girly (though I wish I’d started sooner). I’m grateful to be learning now.
I can be my own worst critic, and because I don’t always feel 100% confident in my appearance, I’ve held back from sharing my progress. But this is all about baby steps!
