To every parent that is standing in faith
To every parent that is standing on the finished work of Jesus Christ concerning your child’s brain, declare this over them today by faith:
We speak to the visual cortex located in the occipital lobe. We declare that you accurately receive and process
visual input in our children. You help our children to recognize colors, shapes, and distances with precision. Their eye movements are steady. They are not overwhelmed and do not need to visually self-stimulate for regulation.
“The peace of God, which surpasses all
understanding, will guard their hearts and minds inChrist Jesus” (Philippians 4:7).
And this is their portion. And it is so in Jesus’ name.

From my experience standing in faith and declaring healing over children's brains, addressing the visual cortex is foundational. The occipital lobe is crucial for processing visual input such as colors, shapes, and distances, which directly affects how children perceive and interact with their world. When we speak to this area in faith, we affirm that their vision is being rewired to its original intent and their eye movements become steady. I have seen that children who receive such declarations often exhibit calmness in their visual engagement, reducing the need for visual self-stimulation, which can be a coping mechanism for sensory overload. Incorporating daily declarations, coupled with patience and consistent faith, allows parents to participate actively in their children's healing journey. It's also vital to remember the spiritual promise highlighted in Philippians 4:7 about the peace of God guarding our children’s hearts and minds. This peace fosters not only mental calm but supports the nervous system’s regulation, enhancing neurological processing. In addition to spiritual practices, exploring one-on-one coaching and supportive resources such as faith-based books and community forums can provide further encouragement and practical strategies. Engaging with other parents sharing their testimonies and insights has been encouraging and has enriched my own approach. By embracing a holistic approach that combines faith declarations with understanding brain function, parents can confidently advocate and pray for their children’s neurological and visual health, believing that transformation is real and accessible through the finished work of Jesus Christ.
