Dear Florida,

I know some of your inhabitants make crazy headlines but I think I love you. ☀️

People give Florida a bad rap but I can see past it.

The #beach brings me a peace that only feels right. It makes me want to stay. More than that I love to smell the water and how often it rains.

I love that you are a peninsula with border islands. Key west is one of the most beautiful. I also love how close the Caribbean is.

Your Everglades are dangerous yet they teem with life. Cypress trees stretch up to the sky.

The fruit you produce is some of the best. Oranges blossom in the air, fragrant and tantalizing. Don’t even get me started of mangos. 🫦

If I could afford it now I’d flee there with my lover and we’d be secluded beach bums forever.
