DR (Depositary Receipt) is a securities in the Thai stock market that refers to foreign shares (that is easy to buy foreign shares through the Thai stock market). You can use the baht to trade at all and do not open the stock portfolio. The price goes up and down in real time according to the underlying assets. When you sell the shares, it will not be a profit tax because it is trading through the Thai stock market. 💰🇹🇭

How does DR work? 💼

1️⃣, the DR issuer will buy the originating shares and then issue the DR according to the underlying shares. For example, ABBV shares will also be issued as ABBV19 issued by Yuanta Securities, with 1 DR unit referencing the originating shares as specified.

2️⃣ by DR. You can trade in baht without having to exchange it in USD. You can trade like Thai shares on the stock board.

Especially during this period, the underlying DR price may not be equal to the source stock because of the value of the currency. That's easy, if the baht is still hard, the DR will grow more slowly than the source stock.

If you buy DR, if you sell it at a price or a limit, if you wait for someone to buy it, you may have to wait a long time or you have to sell it at a market price that is sold immediately (we like to sell like this), you can get a cheaper price than you think.
