私も重機オペレーターや監視員として現場での経験がありますが、今回のような事故は本当に胸が痛みます。特に青森県十和田市にある青ぶな山トンネルの掘削工事で発生した油圧ショベルによる事故は、通報を受けた消防の迅速な対応もあったものの、残念ながら命が失われてしまいました。 この種の現場では、作業前の意思疎通が何よりも重要です。私は常に、オペレーター自身と監視員が作業内容や危険ポイントを事前に詳しく話し合い、可能ならば文書にまとめて現場全体で共有することを心がけています。これがなければ、事故時の即時対応が難しくなり、悲劇につながってしまうことを痛感しています。 また、重機が後退する際には十分な警告音やランプの設置が不可欠です。周囲のスタッフや歩行者に危険を知らせる工夫がなければ、事故が起きるリスクは高まります。今回の現場にこれらの安全装置が十分備わっていたかは分かりませんが、もし無ければ現場管理者や上層部の安全管理体制に改善の必要があります。 誰も命がけの仕事などしたくはありません。ですが 、こういった極めて危険な現場で作業している人たちの安全を第一に考えた環境づくりが求められています。事故を防ぐため、日々のコミュニケーションと安全対策の実施を徹底しましょう。今回の悲惨な事故を教訓にし、二度と同じような悲劇が繰り返されないことを心から願っています。
