The bond between a child and their grandparents is irreplaceable, and when you choose not to be involved, you’re missing out on memories that can never be made again.

Not all grandparents live close to grandkids. Not all grandparents can miss work to go see a play, or every single game or band concert. Not all grandparents have the health to run and do this that and the other, that doesnt make them a bad grandparent. Grandparents have lives just like everyone else. its like with anything in life, its great to be invited to things, but it doesnt mean you have to go. It doesnt mean you dont love someone. it simply means you dont want or cant go. Grandparents shouldn't be raising their grandkids, because their kids decide they dont want to be a parent any longer, but some do. And some grandparents dont deserve to be around their grandkids because of their life choices. Some kids are better off not knowing their grandparents!

I agree. My grandparents would come “kidnap” me and my sister and put blindfolds on us and take us to the zoo. We went to the park, the fun sleepovers at grandmas. Ugh. I love and miss it all!
