Everyone hates postpartum visits… except me 🤷🏽‍♀️

Everyone says they hate having people over right after having a baby… but honestly? I kinda love it and it helped me with postpartum depression.

I like the company, the help, the snacks people bring, and seeing everyone gush over the baby. It makes those early days feel a little more exciting (and less isolating).

Not all postpartum visits are overwhelming… some are exactly what you need.

Did you like postpartum visits?

I actually wished more people would have actually come to visit me in the hospital! And while I was postpartum! I think it would have helped a lot, but everyone was just either too busy or thought we were already being bombarded with visitors!
