Replying to @Ajmonty33 don’t overthink it!
Having three kids, I completely understand how overwhelming it can feel when you look at others and wish to have a similar appearance. The key is not to overthink it or compare yourself harshly. From my experience, the most important step is embracing your body with kindness and gratitude for all it has done. Instead of seeking quick fixes, focusing on healthy habits like balanced nutrition, regular light exercise, and self-care routines has helped me feel more in tune with myself. Another tip is to set realistic expectations. Every postpartum body is unique, and changes take time. Celebrate small milestones, whether it’s fitting into a favorite pair of jeans or simply feeling stronger each day. Also, surrounding yourself with supportive friends or a community can boost motivation and positivity. I found that mindfulness practices, like meditation or journaling, reduce anxiety related to body image. Remember, confidence shines from within, and how you treat yourself influences how others see you. So, instead of overthinking how you should look, focus on what makes you feel happy and healthy. This mindset shift has been a game-changer in my journey to feeling comfortable and proud of my body after having kids.
