No Buy 2026: vegetarian lunch ideas for work

in 2026 we are NOT buying lunch at work, instead i am bringing my lunch to work to help me save money and eat healthy!

in my bento box i have baby carrots, grapes and i made a vegetarian “ham” and cheese sadwich. i use the tofurkey brand from target but kroger also has a brand of tofurkey. i also have 2 tbsp of hummus to dip my carrots in.

next i have a serving of plain greek yogurt that i add a frozen berry mix into with honey and tranquility trail mix from aldi, but i don’t add that until i eat it so its still crunchy!

5 slices is 13g protein

1 slice of cheese is 4g protein

2 slice of bread is 4g protein

2 tbsp hummus 2g protein

3/4 cup greek yogurt 16g protein

1/4 cup trail mix 3g protein

thats 42 grams of protein!
