Werner Bronkhorst Inspired Painting Using DryDex 🌸

Trying to replicate Werner Bronkhorst's style using DryDex was a unique challenge that pushed my creative boundaries. DryDex, commonly known as a drywall patching compound, isn’t a traditional painting medium, which made the process both adventurous and unpredictable. One key takeaway was learning how to manipulate texture—DryDex drying to a matte, slightly rough surface added an unexpected tactile quality that influenced how paint adhered and appeared.
